WomenSing for Peace September Sing

Singing is a way to connect with our hearts, and the hearts of others. It is a satisfying form of emotional release, and a magnificent tool for empowerment. It consists of breathing and vibrations… The voice itself is an absolutely incredible force!

Women are invited to join together to sing for peace deep within themselves so that we may weave that peace into our communities and send it throughout the world.

  • No prior singing experience needed—beginners are warmly welcomed

  • Focus on healthy vocal technique, including breathwork and warm-ups

  • Songs from a variety of cultures, sung in multiple languages

  • Insight into the history and meaning of each song

  • Emphasis on honoring the origins and meaning of the music


CLASS SPECIFICS

On Thursday evenings throughout the Summer we will bask in the beats and sing with joyful voices at the magical Fish Creek Marina Pavilion. For this special end-of-Summer Circle we will have a BOUNCY HOUSE for all to enjoy, sponsored by our friends at the Kayak Shak. This Circle will be specially designed for children and families, but all ages are welcomed! Bring a chair, a drum or other percussion, a song to share and/or dance along!

Our circles are rain or shine as we are under cover. Some drums and percussion will be on hand to share.
