If everyone played the ukulele, the world would be a better place.

Strum in Joy!

Strum in Joy! is more than just a ukulele class—it’s a welcoming space to explore music and self-expression while building confidence, community, and overall well-being. If ever there was a time that we needed to gather love, kindness, and creativity around ourselves and one another, it is now. Over 8 weeks, you’ll be guided through the fundamentals of ukulele and group singing in a way that’s playful, encouraging, and deeply connecting. Whether you're strumming for the first time or returning to music after a break, this course is your invitation to experience the joy of strumming and singing together.

LOVE

“I started my ukulele journey with a series of free ukulele classes offered for seniors by EarthBeat Music at our local library. I had purchased a ukulele ten years previously but never followed up until I found out about EarthBeat Music.

Chelsie is an excellent teacher who guides and challenges me through every session, helping me build new skills and confidence. In addition, because of her wholehearted enthusiasm and kindness I have gained a stronger sense of the shared values in our local communities.

The love, laughter, joy, and even occasional tears when a song is deeply touching has been an overwhelming experience, all due to Chelsie's big heart. She has truly created a "beloved community" as envisioned by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.”
