  • WomenSing for Peace

    Singing is a way to connect with our hearts, and the hearts of others. It is a satisfying form of emotional release, and a magnificent tool for empowerment. It consists of breathing and vibrations… The voice itself is an absolutely incredible force!

    Women are invited to join together to sing for peace deep within themselves so that we may weave that peace into our communities and send it throughout the world.

    What to Expect

    • No prior singing experience needed—beginners are warmly welcomed

    • Focus on healthy vocal technique, including breathwork and warm-ups

    • Songs from a variety of cultures, sung in multiple languages

    • Insight into the history and meaning of each song

    • Emphasis on honoring the origin and spirit of the music

    We collect with the intention to drum and sing for PEACE deep within ourselves and weave that peace into our communities and send it throughout the world. The songs and rhythms explored will be around the themes of peace and gratitude.

    Drummers can look forward to strengthening their technique while learning new skills and songs, and making new "drumily" friends!

  • Strum & Sing for Peace

    We collect with the intention to strum ukuleles and sing for PEACE deep within ourselves and weave that peace into our communities and send it throughout the world. The songs and rhythms explored will be around the themes of peace and gratitude.

    Ukulele players can look forward to strengthening their ukulele strumming and fingerpicking technique while learning new skills and songs, and making new "strumily" friends!

    We celebrate and honor the culture-bearers of West African music and dance through workshops and performances organized by Earth Beat Music.  Dive into the history, culture and traditions through workshops in Djembe, Dunduns, Krin, Balafon, Kora, Dance, Song, Language and Folklore!

  • Drum-Dance-Sing School & Community Programming

    Earth Beat Music presents Drum-Dance-Sing Presentations, Workshops and Residencies! Our programs enhance mental health and well-being, foster personal development and encourage creative expressiveness through the powerful, transformative practices of drumming, movement, and singing.

    We share West African traditional music, which includes diving into the rich history, culture and language, to create more resilient and empathetic communities. We strive to connect students to the Master Musicians - our mentors - from West Africa, as well as other regional visual and dance artists to create a WHOLE experience.
