A brand new two day retreat for drumming, shekere making, singing, jamming and practicing gratitude in early August at beautiful Summit Lake, NY!

AUGUST 6 + 7 SCHEDULE
Th 8/6 Day 1
9:30-10:15 am Arrive and settle in
10:15-10:45 am Gratitude Circle Opening
11:00-11:45 am Afro-Frame Drumming Workshop with CH
12:00-1:00 pm Lunch
1:15-3:00 pm Shekere Making Workshop Part 1 with CP
3:15-3:45 pm Tea/coffee break
3:45-5:00 pm Dunduns Jam with CH
5:00-5:30 pm Day 1 Closing Circle
Go home and rest; or stay for some lake time: kayak, swim, etc
F 8/7 Day 2
9:30-10:30 am Arrive and settle in
10:30-12:30 pm Djembe Intensive with CH
12:30-1:30 pm Lunch
1:45-4:00 pm Shekere Making Workshop Part 2 with CP
4:15-5:00 pm Closing Percussion Jam with new shekeres and buckets and other found objects with CH
5:00-5:30 pm Group photo and send off with love!
