Let's celebrate our global music community by sharing music and dance with three premier master musicians from Guinea, West Africa!   It is a great honor to host M'Bemba Bangoura, Youssouf Koumbassa and Abou Sylla in upstate NY!

West African Community Dance Celebration with M'Bemba Bangoura & Youssouf Koumbassa

The evening will kick off with a short performance by M'Bemba and Youssouf with special guest musicians, and then all will be welcomed to join the all ages, all bodies, all abilities Community Intergenerational Dance.

Following this energizing movement session, there will be a more intensive Traditional Guinea, West African Dance Workshop where a specific rhythm will be explored through dance, and will include a deep dive into its history and meaning.

This entire evening is made accessible to the community thanks to these amazing organizations: Dance Flurry Organization, Easton Library, Greenwich Free Library and MLK Saratoga.
