Dear EarthBeat Music Family,

Tonight we will have our third EarthBeat Community Drum + Song Circle, facilitated by drum instructor and builder Wayne White (The Djembe Lab). All donations will benefit Saratoga PLAN. Saratoga PLAN Volunteers will actually be on Fish Creek pulling Water Chestnut while we drum this evening!

Here are two very special events to add to our calendars that will take place in one month’s time: Ismael Kouyate and friends will be performing at the Charles R. Wood Theater on August 23 (ticket info here); and Namory Keita and Seny Daffe will be in Schuylerville to offer West African Drum and Dance workshops on Sunday, August 24! Read below for more details on the workshops with Namory and Seny. Registration will remain open until workshops have filled.

Let's continue "cultivating empathic & resilient communities through musical expression" this Fall! The next sessions of Strum in Joy and Drum in Joy offerings will begin in early September and run until early November. Please note that the DiJ Performance Track option has filled. Grateful Gatherings will return this Fall; WomenSing for Peace will take place once or twice per month instead of weekly (dates TBA soon); and there are some events in the works with special guest Master Drummers M’Bemba Bangoura (October 6 at Malta Cultural Arts Festival) and Sayon Camara (late Fall).
