Dear EarthBeat Music Family,

WomenSing for Peace meets one more time at EarthBeat Music’s Schuylerville home tomorrow evening at 6:00 pm. Part of the registration fees will benefit the Bolokada & Friends Village Project.

At this Winter Sing, we will share chants and rounds to settle us into Winter while also setting the stage for a bright New Year. May We Know the Way; Be the Peace; Won’t You Be the Change; All I Know is Love; and Grandmother Moon are the titles of the songs we will sing into the night!

The “Farewell to 90 Broad Street Week” culminating program on December 21 - EarthBeat Music’s Winter Solstice Celebration - will be a heart-centered finale at the studio.

The tentative schedule is:
3:00-3:30 pm Welcome and Make a Luminary
3:30-4:30 Frame Drum and Sing
(4:30 pm Eat and Be Merry)
4:30-5:00 pm Slideshow of Shelly’s trip with Bolokada Conde
5:30 pm Final Toast

Bring your lantern and/or make a luminary when you arrive to light up the studio on the longest night of the year. We will frame drum and sing to welcome in the first day of Winter. We invite you to bring a nourishing dish to share in our potluck. Drum in Joy drummer Shelly Walsh will show her slideshow about her travels with Bolokada in January 2025.

Frank Lombardo’s StarLight Lanterns Workshop on December 19 has some space available if you’d like to create a lantern to light up your home (and bring to the Solstice event!)
