Dear EarthBeat Music Family,

All of the workshops with Malinke Grandmaster Djembefola Bolokada Conde are on the calendar and open for registration! Starting with a Beginner Level Djembe Workshop on Tuesday, April 21 and then one of two All Levels Djembe and Dunduns Workshop; to a Community West African Drumming Workshop at the Greenwich Free Library and then the second All Levels Djembe and Dunduns Workshop! You may take both all levels evening workshops at a discounted price. Click on the links below for all of the details.

The Greenwich Free Library program is made possible with funds from the Statewide Community Regrant Program, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature and administered by the Lower Adirondack Regional Arts Council.

After some careful consideration, I decided to make all of my offerings at Refuge in Troy Drum in Joy! Djembe and Dunduns Pop Up Workshops. They will be held every Thursday for the month of April. If there is demand, I hope to continue on into May and perhaps down the road can offer my other music programs, such as WomenSing for Peace. Come to one, some or all of the DiJ workshops. If you refer a friend to join any Drum in Joy in Troy classes, after they have registered I will send you a special code for $5 off a class!
