Dear EarthBeat Music Family,

This past week has been filled to the brim with wonderful drumming, strumming and singing gatherings: the last Drum in Joy in Troy class at Refuge; a drumming intensive with amazing women drummers in Albany; the World Labyrinth Day drum circle at Hudson Crossing Park; Sunday and Tuesday Drum in Joy classes; a WomenSing for Peace May sing at Live Oak Wellness; and the Strum in Joy Spring finale at Idlenot Fibersmiths ending with a delicious meal - complete with impromptu jam! - at Juniper restaurant.

This Sunday I will be leading an energizing djembe workshop at the Guilderland Public Library with special guest Abdul Samassa. The program is FREE and open to adults and teens. Beginners are most welcomed!

The Strum in Joy Summer Session beginning on June 3rd is almost full! All solidified Djembe and Dunduns offerings - from Monday classes starting June 8th to once monthly community drum circles - have been added to the website calendar! Stay tuned for some community drumming opportunities around Juneteenth. And very soon I will share all of the details on a brand new Frame Drumming Summer Series ☀️
