Dear EarthBeat Music Family,

Our community had an unbelievable experience with Grandmaster Djembefola Bolokada Conde. That gratitude retrospect deserves its very own newsletter - I will send that next week complete with visuals! Our EarthBeat Music community was the first Bolokada visited on his mini Northeast tour, so if you missed him or want more time to study with him while he’s “in the area”, drop me an email and I will forward along the other dates and locations in MA and CT that he will be teaching in over this next week.

Tomorrow morning all are invited to drum it up for Sustainable Saratoga’s Tree Toga Kickoff at Pitney Meadows Farm in Saratoga Springs! Our role is to fire up the 200+ volunteer tree planters as they get signed in for their morning of planting young trees around Saratoga Springs. It’s going to be a chilly one and we are very definitely going to be outside, so please dress in layers.

Also a reminder that SSPL Librarian Kali Nagler’s final Drum Circle inside the Library is tomorrow afternoon. Her circles are so welcoming and the Library even has djembes to borrow if you give a heads up that you need one! Online registration is required (see below for the link).
